Pillsbury Creamy Vanilla Cake Mix

Sophia
The secret to a super Pillsbury Creamy Vanilla Cake Mix lies in the balance of ingredients and careful preparation. Using the right amount of water, oil, and eggs creates a smooth batter that bakes into a moist, tender cake. Gently mixing ensures the cake rises evenly without becoming dense. Preheating the oven and properly greasing the pan prevents sticking and promotes an even golden color.

Equipment

  • 9×13 inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or electric mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Cooling rack

Ingredients

  • 1 box 15.25 oz Pillsbury Moist Supreme® Creamy Vanilla Flavored Cake Mix
  • 1 cup 240 mL water
  • ½ cup 120 mL vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat. Prepare your baking pan by greasing it with butter or nonstick spray, then lightly dust it with flour or you can line it with parchment paper instead.
  • In a big mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir everything together with a whisk or mix on low speed with an electric mixer until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. After that, transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely before adding frosting or serving.
